Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
- Perform a wide range of vehicle services and repairs with precision and efficiency
- Conduct maintenance procedures in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and servicing schedules
- Diagnose and investigate faults accurately, reporting findings to the Workshop Controller or Foreman
- Complete warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications
- Ensure all work is completed to high standards, maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with technical developments and product knowledge
- Provide exceptional customer service to promote customer loyalty and generate referrals
- Maintain workshop standards, including good housekeeping and accurate documentation of work performed
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician:
- Previous experience in a similar role within a dealership or automotive workshop
- Full UK driving licence
- Ideally, possess a Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- MOT licence would be advantageous
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical knowledge
