Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Hostess to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth seating process. Previous restaurant or hotel experience is advantageous, but a genuine passion for hospitality and excellent communication skills are essential. Responsibilities
- Greeting guests warmly upon arrival and managing reservations efficiently
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the host/hostess station
- Assisting with guest needs throughout their visit to enhance overall experience
- Handling guest complaints or concerns tactfully and professionall
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hospitality, or hotel setting is preferred but not essential
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
- Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when required
- Knowledge of guest services standards and good phone etiquette
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary
