Healthcare Service Manager/Practice manager/ Business Development manager
Aesthetic Smiles Dental operates as a long-established provider of both NHS and private dental care services in Leicester. Located at 155 Fosse Road North, Leicester, LE3 5EZ, the practice offers a comprehensive spectrum of dental treatments. Serving as a trusted point of contact for dental health concerns in the heart of Leicester, the practice's team of highly qualified clinicians deliver accurate diagnoses, bespoke treatment planning, and continuous, accessible care to individuals and families across the city and surrounding areas. In addition to NHS services, the practice also caters extensively to private patients, providing the same high standard of clinical care across all treatment offerings, from general dentistry through to cosmetic and restorative work.
We are seeking a competent and detail-oriented Healthcare Service Manager for our business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Oversee the daily running of the practice, ensuring the smooth coordination of clinical, cosmetic, and administrative operations across both NHS and private patient pathways.
· Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including those set by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), General Dental Council (GDC), and data protection legislation.
· Manage patient interactions, including handling feedback and complaints, to maintain a high standard of patient care and satisfaction across general, cosmetic, and restorative treatment services.
· Supervise and support dental nurses, hygienists and therapists, reception staff, and other team members, including involvement in recruitment, training, and performance management.
· Monitor and maintain stock levels of clinical materials and equipment, including those required for implant, orthodontic, and facial aesthetics treatments, ensuring cost-effective procurement and minimal disruption to clinical services.
· Oversee the secure and accurate maintenance of patient records and appointment systems in line with NHS and GDPR requirements.
· Identify areas for service improvement and implement strategies to enhance patient experience, operational efficiency, and overall practice performance.
