Job Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and dedicated Relief Static Security Officer to uphold safety and security protocols at our facility. In this role, you will serve as the first line of defense, monitoring premises through surveillance systems, conducting regular patrols, and ensuring loss prevention measures are effectively implemented. Duties
- Monitor security cameras (CCTV) continuously to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure all areas are secure and compliant with safety standards.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to security alarms or incidents, coordinating with emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of surveillance activities, incident reports, and access logs.
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identification and authorizations of visitors and staff.
- Provide first aid assistance in case of minor injuries or medical emergencies until professional help arrives.
Experience
- Prior experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, security equipment, and surveillance techniques is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to identify potential threats quickly and accurately.
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods and security best practices.
- Ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations while following established protocols.
- Basic understanding of first aid procedures is desirable but not required; training will be offered if needed.
