As a Clinical Lead, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the service. You’ll provide strong leadership to the clinical team, ensure the highest standards of care and compliance, and contribute to the growth and development of the service – while making a real difference to the lives of our residents.
You’ll get to know our residents and their families, ensuring that the care we provide them promotes dignity and individual choices. You’ll help write the small, meaningful chapters in someone’s story, and in return, you’ll be part of a community that values and supports you too. Please note, that all our roles are subject to an enhanced police check (Disclosure Barring Service – DBS) before employment commences.
This role is for 43 hours a week, inclusive of an unpaid break. The pattern will be - one week you will be working 3 shifts a week, the next 4 shifts a week,
As a Clinical Lead every day is about making a real difference in the lives of our residents. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Put residents at the heart of everything we do, ensuring care reflects their wishes, choices, and wellbeing
- Support the day-to-day management of the home, maintaining high-quality care and compliance with CQC and regulatory standards
- Support the Deputy Manager and Registered Manager with developing the clinical team through supervision, appraisals, and ongoing training
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care documentation and records.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and positive environment for residents and colleagues
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver the best outcomes for residents
You’ll bring both expertise and compassion to the role, with the ability to inspire and lead by example. Registered with the NMC you’ll have proven experience in a Clinical Lead or Deputy Manager role within a residential or nursing home. In-depth knowledge of CQC standards and care compliance is essential together with strong leadership and organisational skills and the ability to develop and motivate teams.
