Trustees
The London Community Foundation (LCF) is looking for new Trustees to join our Board as we embark on an ambitious new strategy focused on supporting the hyper local grassroots organisations of London.
LCF is a funder who understands how to create impact in local communities, helping donors from across sectors tackle key issues, through the support of grassroots community organisations. We’ve made over 800 grants worth c£10m in the last year, and over £134m since our inception in 2010.
We know communities can identify their own responses to the challenges they face, but often lack the resources. Our task is to support them. We do that by championing local organisations, connecting funders to them, channelling funds to their work, and supporting them directly to be stronger.
Our Board of Trustees brings oversight and critical friendship to our executive team, ensuring that our organisational strategy addresses some of the most complex social and economic issues in London today by attracting the right partnerships and investments and ensuring that funds get to where they are needed most in a streamlined, impactful manner.
Following a recent skills and diversity audit, we are looking for new Trustees to join our board who bring experience of one or more of the below: philanthropy/wealth advisory; digital/technology and AI; marketing communications; lived experience of marginalisation; lived experience from a Global Majority background.
For further information please download the full candidate pack page and for a conversation about the opportunity, please contact Tanya Stevens at our search partner All Leaders on [email protected].

Trustees commit to three year terms, which are up to twice renewable. Travel expenses for interviews and board meetings will be covered as required. Discussions regarding access needs are welcome.
The closing date for applications is midday on Friday, 5 June.
