Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Multi Trade to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with various trade tasks such as roofing, plumbing, electrical installations, carpentry, plastering, under supervision
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete assigned duties
- Support the setup and preparation of work sites, including material handling
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to understand project requirements
- Participate in construction painting and finishing tasks to ensure quality standards are met
- Follow safety protocols consistently to maintain a secure work environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of construction processes or previous experience in related trades is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn new skills across multiple trades disciplines
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and responsibly
- Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and eagerness to work as part of a team
- Basic knowledge of schematics or technical drawings is a plus but not essential
- A proactive attitude with a desire for professional growth within the construction industry
