Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Quality Department on a temporary basis to provide cover for a period of long-term sickness absence. Based at our North Walsham facility, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring products meet customer and company quality standards through inspection, testing, auditing, and compliance activities. While this is initially a temporary position, there may be the opportunity for the role to become permanent, subject to business requirements.

Location:
- Based at the North Walsham Factory.
- Direct reports: None
Hours of work
Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30. Occasional weekend overtime may be required to support business needs.
Roles and Responsibilities
Job purpose:
· To work as a member of the Quality team.
· To assist with and maintain:
o Product compliance with all company and customer specifications.
o Current revisions and quality documentation.
· To assist and maintain compliance with the company management systems.
Key Responsibilities
· Product measuring and testing.
· Approve or reject products based on inspection results.
· Carry out monthly Patrol and Hygiene inspections (Level 2 Hygiene training will be provided if required).
· Filing of works orders and retained samples, including occasional manual handling and movement of materials as required.
· Checking paperwork for compliance.
· Conduct internal auditing of the Quality Management system.
· Monitoring retained samples on the production floor.
· Maintaining computerised training records (training provided).
