Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time School Cleaner to join our vibrant educational community. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. Your efforts will ensure that the school premises are hygienic and well-presented, contributing to a positive learning atmosphere. This position offers flexible hours perfect for individuals looking to make a meaningful impact while balancing other commitments.
working Pattern: Monday to Friday 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized and free of dust, dirt, and debris to promote health and safety standards
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste responsibly in designated areas
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap dispensers, and toilet paper in restrooms and cleaning stations
- Conduct routine inspections to identify areas needing extra attention or maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all cleaning activities
- Maintain a tidy storage area for cleaning supplies and equipment
Qualifications
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment throughout the shift
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Reliable with a positive attitude and good time management skills
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices is a plus
- Enhanced DBS is required
