Hampshire Bespoke Decorating is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic school leaver to join our team as an Apprentice Painter & Decorator.
Based in Fair Oak, we specialise in high-end residential decorating, spray painting, wallpapering and exterior restoration, working on beautiful homes within approximately a 15-mile radius. You’ll work alongside experienced decorators, learning professional techniques while helping transform premium properties to the highest standard.
No previous decorating experience is required – we’ll teach you everything you need to know. What we’re really looking for is someone with a great attitude, a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Learning all aspects of interior and exterior decorating.
- Assisting with professional spray painting of windows, doors and kitchens.
- Preparing surfaces to a high standard before decorating.
- Learning wallpaper hanging and decorative finishes.
- Carrying out wood repairs and restoration techniques.
- Using professional tools and equipment safely.
- Working alongside experienced decorators on high-end residential properties.

Essential Requirements
- Must live within the Fair Oak or Bishopstoke area, or be able to arrive at our meeting point in Fair Oak by 7:30am each working day.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliable, punctual and prepared to work hard.
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work and takes pride in doing a good job.
As this apprenticeship is aimed at school leavers, we understand many applicants won’t yet be driving. Because we travel to different jobs each day, it’s important that you’re able to get to our meeting point in Fair Oak by 7:30am, ready to travel with the team.
