Due to our diverse portfolio we are now looking to recruit yet another experienced Health and Safety Consultant to join our established team. The successful candidate should be available for a full time Position.
Based in Cornwall covering Cornwall, Devon and Somerset areas, the business works within various sectors including but not limited to construction, engineering, education, hospitality and public. The role is varied with a mixture of on and off site work, office based and training.
We are looking for a well-rounded, enthusiastic health and safety professional that can demonstrate and put into a practice a good knowledge of all health and safety legislation. Knowledge of CDM Regulations is essential. Successful candidates must have a teaching qualifications and have knowledge of the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
§ Provide health and safety advice, guidance to clients
§ You will produce risk assessments, safe systems of work, method statements and policies
§ Carry out site audits & inspection
§ Be able to deliver training to industry, including construction
§ You will carry out accident investigations, analyse trends, produce reports and aid in the preparation of a legal defence if required
§ Aid in the securing of new and retention of existing health & safety business
§ Represent the company and clients when dealing with enforcing authorities and insurance companies
§ Conduct liability surveys and produce associated reports / risk recommendations
Salary starting is based upon successful candidate having necessary experience and qualifications. Salary to be discussed at interview. JNC Safety Services Ltd is part of the JMG Group.
