About the Role
Ensinger Machined Parts is looking for a motivated and reliable CNC Operator to join our production team at our Bridgwater site.
In this role, you will operate pre-set machine tools within our production department to manufacture high-quality machine part components to drawing specifications and customer requirements. You will work as part of a close-knit team, supporting colleagues and contributing to the smooth and efficient running of our production facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a hands-on approach, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rotating 3-shift pattern:
- Nights: Sunday – Thursday 22:00 – 06:00
- Days: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 14:30, Friday 06:00 - 12:00
- Afternoons: Monday – Thursday 14:30 – 23:00, Friday 12:00 – 18:00
Key Responsibilities
- Operate pre-set machine tools to produce parts to drawing specifications and customer satisfaction
- Carry out all work in line with production and quality procedures, including 1st off, batch, and final inspections
- Run multiple machines for small to medium batch quantities
- Support colleagues with additional duties to aid the smooth running of the department
- Work in accordance with the quality management system and departmental processes
- Comply with all reasonable requests from the Production Manager
- Maintain safety standards at all times in line with the company's Group Health and Safety policy
- Report any issues or hazards promptly to the Production Manager
- Handle all personal data in line with GDPR 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018
What We're Looking For
Experience & Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment, ideally production-based
- Experience of running CNC machines is preferred
- Strong accuracy and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Health & Safety and Quality practices
