HS2, Britain’s new high-speed railway is at peak construction. Balfour Beatty VINCI is HS2’s construction partner in the Midlands, responsible for delivering 90km of the route, from Long Itchington in Warwickshire to the centre of Birmingham and on to Handsacre in Staffordshire.

Current Opportunity: Training Coordinator
Location: Kingsbury
Key Accountabilities:
- Undertake a full range of administrative duties to ensure an efficient service is delivered
- Manage own inbox and screen emails on behalf of team and manage all appropriate correspondence
- Be fully conversant in MS Office to produce a range of spreadsheets, documents and presentations, as required
- Undertake multi diary management and plan trainer schedules in diaries to optimise the working time of allocated team
- Arrange and attend team meetings as required, to take minutes, and ensure appropriate facilities are organised
- Perform ad hoc confidential project work, as required
- Maintain full confidentiality of sensitive business issues
- Support the work of other Administrators during periods of absence or unexpected high volumes of work activity
- Liaise with third party suppliers and parent companies to organise training programs
- Export and create reports
- Creating and sending reminders of training invitations to delegates and trainers
Essential Experience:
- Training background desirable
- Administration experience essential
- Highly organised and able to work on own initiative
- Excellent team working skills, and able to build relationships at all levels
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales
- Very strong customer focus
- Good spoken and written communication, ability to keep all relevant parties informed
