Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met and their queries are resolved efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping others, contributing to a positive customer experience.
Duties
- Analyse customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues as necessary.
- Engage in upselling opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and resolve complex issues.
- Friendly and thoughtful service – you’ll put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, working in our in-store bakery and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
- Work together to make everyone's day better – supporting your store colleagues to solve problems for customers.
- Make sure the store safe and legal – keep the shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
- Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural, sharing experiences with your colleagues so everyone learns together
Skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong analytical skills to assess customer needs effectively.
- Experience in upselling products or services is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism and empathy.
- A genuine care for the needs of customers and members
- Great people skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- A positive approach to change and problem solving
