An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a dedicated Senior Workforce Planning & ESR Lead. This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
The successful post holder will support and contribute to the development and provision of workforce performance and planning within the Trust through the production and analysis of complex workforce information reports, working to predetermined deadlines. The role will assist in the collation of workforce plans, corporate plans and performance frameworks across the Trust.
Previous experience of working within an information and reporting environment with robust knowledge and experience of using databases and spreadsheets to extract, analyses and manipulate information for the purpose of workforce planning is required. An in-depth knowledge Electronic Staff records (ESR), and extensive knowledge of all ESR reporting. Be able to demonstrate use of computer packages, particularly Excel and how to use them to extract and manipulate data is critical within the role.
You would have excellent communications skills with an ability to communicate at all levels within the organisation, adjusting your communication style to the appropriate audience.
Due to the demands of the role an ability to plan work, deadlines and work autonomously are important coupled with an ability to think analytically, define solutions and draw logical conclusions and recommendations for workforce related data.

To be the main source of expertise for the Trust in relation to Workforce Planning methodologies and tools to ensure workforce data is available to inform workforce planning across the whole Trust.
To lead work with strategic and operational management to understand anticipated, likely, and potential business change including short-term and long-terms, transitional and transformational changes that will impact on future staffing needs, determining anticipated future workforce needs across the whole Trust. This will include scheduling plans for analysis and reporting whole Trust data at senior level approval for external reporting purposes.
