We are looking for a skilled, enthusiastic and values-driven professionals to join our thriving multidisciplinary team in Ipswich. We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist who: is passionate about improving outcomes for children, young people and families; values multidisciplinary working; brings curiosity, compassion and clinical excellence; wants to contribute to an ambitious and developing service; and shares our commitment to co-production and involving young people in shaping care.
This is a senior clinical role combining specialist assessment and therapy, consultation to multidisciplinary teams, supervision and workforce development, service improvement, and leadership in psychologically informed care. Key responsibilities include:
Provide specialist psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for children, young people and families with complex mental health needs.
Deliver a range of evidence-based psychological therapies and interventions to service users, families and carers.
Provide psychological consultation, advice and formulation to multidisciplinary team colleagues to support psychologically informed care.
Undertake complex risk assessments and advise other professionals on the psychological aspects of risk management.
Provide supervision and support to trainee, assistant and newly-qualified psychologists, and contribute to developing the wider psychological workforce.
Contribute to service development, strategic planning and the implementation of psychologically informed practice across services.
Work collaboratively with health, social care and partner agencies to meet the recovery, safeguarding and wellbeing needs of service users and their families.
