Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
- Greet customers warmly, taking their orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including food preparation areas and serving stations
- Ensure food safety standards are consistently followed to guarantee quality and safety for all guests
- Manage cash register operations, handle transactions accurately, and provide correct change
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling baked goods or light snacks when needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high service standards
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety practices to uphold hygiene standards in all food and beverage handling
- Prior barista experience or serving background is preferred to deliver exceptional customer service
- Ability to perform basic math accurately for transactions and inventory management
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours efficiently
- Experience with food preparation techniques to assist in creating quality offerings
