We are seeking a motivated bricklayers Labourer to join our team, supporting various construction, gardening, and maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in horticulture and construction work, with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor environments. Duties
- Assisting with landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, and turf care
- Operating hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shovels for various tasks
- Supporting the use of power tools and machinery including excavators and irrigation systems
- Conducting general site maintenance to ensure safety and cleanliness
- Assisting with construction activities such as groundwork preparation and material handling
- Performing routine mechanical maintenance on equipment and tools
- Supporting team members in the installation and repair of irrigation systems
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations at all times
Skills
- Experience or interest in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture
- Mechanical knowledge related to construction or maintenance equipment
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Ability to operate machinery such as excavators (training provided if necessary)
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail in maintenance tasks
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new skills
