Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance person to join our team
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical gearboxes, bearings, clutches and electrical systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Troubleshoot machinery issues using, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance and future reference.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime by scheduling maintenance during planned outages or low-impact periods.
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, quality standards, and environmental policies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter or similar role within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- electrical experience advantages combined with mechanical knowledge to handle diverse maintenance tasks
- Excellent communication skills in English to facilitate clear reporting and teamwork
Pay: £33,078.24 per year
