We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive and hard working kitchen assistant.
Experience in cooking Asian dishes is essential although full training will be given.
Seoul Food Korean Kitchen is a café restaurant offering authentic Korean cuisine as well as crepes and artisan coffee, we are a small business but very fast paced busy café restaurant.
What we are looking for;

- Eagerness to Learn: Master our menu ingredients, daily specials, allergy protocols, and POS systems quickly.
- Teamworking: Collaborate seamlessly between the kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service during peak rushes.
- Flexibility: Commit to a dynamic rota, including busy weekend dinner shifts and bank holiday periods.
What you will do in addition to cooking;
- Prepare all ingredients
- Make and serve various different Korean dishes
- Checking that orders have been correctly delivered and charged for
- Servicing customers in a pleasant and courteous manner
- Maintains the cleanliness of the cafe to meet or exceed Health Department standards for cleanliness, food handling and sanitation
- Keeping cleaning and temperature records
- Undertaking the preparation of the food and beverages served in the café
- Clearing tables
- Washing up
- Ensuring that the café environment is pleasant and welcoming in line with the image agreed with the Directors
- Reporting maintenance issues to the Café owners
- Ensuring that any risk assessments are complied with
- Monitors stocks of ingredients and food items and assists with the preparation of inventory supply orders
- Properly stores, labels and dates all products
- Properly maintains and uses all equipment per manufacturer’s and company specifications.
- Performs other duties or roles as assigned by management.
- Arrange and restock display counters with cold drinks
