Job Summary:
We are Urban HausDesignStudio, a Luxury Kitchen & Interior Company as well as a building company, seeking a passionate, hardworking and experienced person for the role of Kitchen Fitter / Joiner in and around the Manchester and Cheshire Area. In this role you will be responsible for the fitting and installation of kitchens and fitted furniture within residential properties. Primary Role & Duties: Installation of premium German Kitchens within high end properties. Additional Joinery works such as ceilings, stud walls, partitions as required Site preparation including loading/unloading and lifting of kitchens, furniture, materials and equipment Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications accurately Liaising with other tradespeople and specialised people on site As a suitable candidate you must possess the following; Minimum of 3 years proven hands on kitchen installation / joinery experience Able to use a variety of hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently High attention to detail and able to complete works to a very high standard Good communication skills and ability to liaise with clients using a high level of customer service Polite, punctual, reliable and able to work alone and as part of a team Ability to use initiative to problem solve and use initiative to resolve any arising issues Clean & Presentable Full UK Driving License Required - Company Vehicle will also be provided. You must be in possession of your own tools to be eligible for this role Additional trades such as plumbing/electrician etc will be highly advantageous
Ideally you will be able to demonstrate skills in other areas as well. The ability to work on bathroom and building projects would be advantageous, as well as a willingness to learn new skills.
This role is available on a full-time basis with immediate start. Working hours on site are generally 8am - 4pm with pay to be discussed dependent on experience. There is also scope for overtime if required.
