Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Part Time Cleaning Operative to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across various commercial premises. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure that all areas meet high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This position offers flexible hours perfect for individuals looking to contribute to a professional setting while balancing other commitments. working hours are Saturday 12 till 1600 Sunday 12 till 1600
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and supplies
- Ensure all surfaces, floors, windows, and fixtures are spotless and well-maintained
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet roll as needed to ensure facilities are fully equipped
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina to perform cleaning duties that involve standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions clearly
- Knowledge of health and safety practices related to cleaning operations
