What You’ll Do
As a Children’s SEN Support Worker, you will:
- Provide personalised 1:1 support for children and young people with a range of special educational needs (including ASD, ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH, physical or sensory needs).
- Build strong, positive relationships that promote trust, confidence, and emotional wellbeing.
- Support young people to access the community, including outings, clubs, social groups, and activities that encourage independence and social development.
- Enable engagement in fun, meaningful activities — from creative play and sports to life-skills learning and sensory exploration.
- Implement creative strategies to support communication, learning, emotional regulation, social interaction, and daily living skills.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to personalised support plans that help each young person achieve their goals.

- Willing to complete training (provided!) and an enhanced DBS check
- Experience in SEN, childcare, education, or youth support is helpful
