Altrad are currently looking for experienced Advanced Scaffolders to join the team at Capenhurst for site works.
This role will involve working 38 hour weeks Monday - Friday.
The position is paid under NAECI agreements (£23.45 per hour), must be local to site.
The role is permanent
Key Deliverables:
- Having an understanding of company safety policy and ensuring that it is complied with.
- Use the correct tools, plant and equipment and keep them in good condition. Ensure they are safe before use
- Report to supervision any defects in plant and equipment, protective clothing or safety equipment
- Work in a safe manner at all times, avoid taking unnecessary risks
- Keep working areas and welfare facilities in a clean, tidy and safe condition at all times
- Report all accidents or incidents immediately to the supervisor or site manager
- Follow work instructions on the work order card
- Actively participate in pre-job risk assessments
- Keep working areas in a clean and tidy condition at all times
- Complete all the appropriate paperwork associated with the task as requested by Altrad and the client
- Liaise on a daily basis with the Site Supervisor/Manager and keep them fully informed of all issues.
- Adhere to SG4 requirements
- Read scaffold drawings and erect scaffold in line with drawings and specifications
- Erect, dismantle and carry out the following: Tower scaffolds, Independent scaffolds, Birdcage scaffolds, Slung scaffolds, Cantilever Scaffolds, Truss out Scaffolds, Proprietary scaffold system
- Temporary installed suspended scaffolds and access equipment
- Special design structures
- Comply with technical manual and relevant standards
- Give clear instructions which incorporate safety aspects and ensure that they are followed
Key Requirements / Qualifications:
- Have a valid CISRS Card
- Be willing to undergo SC clearance
- Be local to site
- Have Scaffolding experience
