Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Nursery Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure that our nursery environments are spotless, safe, and welcoming for children, staff, and visitors alike. Your dedication to maintaining high standards of cleanliness will directly contribute to the well-being and happiness of everyone in our care.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of nursery rooms, play areas, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces using commercial cleaning techniques.
- Maintain hygiene standards by disinfecting toys, furniture, and equipment regularly.
- Manage waste disposal efficiently and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to create a safe environment for children and staff.
- Collaborate with nursery staff to identify cleaning needs during daily routines or special events.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is a plus.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills to complete cleaning tasks efficiently during designated shifts.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to childcare environments is advantageous.

Pay: £26,500.00-£27,000.00 per year
