The store is open from early in the morning to late at night so flexibility is essential, and you must be able to work shifts including early mornings, evenings and weekends.
No two days are the same and our Customer Service Assistants enjoy working at a fast pace, doing a variety of tasks from making amazing breakfast rolls through to filling the shelves and preparing for the next day.
As Customer Service Assistant your priority is making sure our customers have a great experience every time they visit the store, through consistently friendly service, ensuring great product availability and first class hygiene standards.
You will be required to prepare and serve various products which could include raw and cooked meat, alcohol, and foods containing allergens. You will also be on your feet for long periods of time, and the role will involve cash handling, lifting and carrying, and other tasks such as filling shelves and cleaning.
Training will be provided but experience in a sales or retail environment would be an advantage, as would previous knowledge of food safety practices

Rate of pay: Up to £12.75 per hour, (when over 21) in line with National Living Wage/ National Minimum Wage
Weekly Hours: Minimum 24 hours per week, to suit your needs and ours, set weekly hours, no zero hours contracts
Note: Because of alcohol licensing laws, you *must* be over 18 years old to apply, and you must be able to get to work without relying on public transport or help from others
These are temporary roles, currently until January 2027, but permanent positions may become available
