We pride ourselves on delivering an excellent client experience and are looking for an experienced Massage Therapist to join our team on a self-employed basis.
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate, skilled and professional Massage Therapist who takes pride in delivering exceptional treatments tailored to each client's individual needs.
You will provide a range of massage therapies designed to promote relaxation, relieve muscular tension, reduce stress and support clients' overall wellbeing.
As this is a self-employed position, we are particularly interested in someone who is proactive, reliable and confident in developing strong, long-term relationships with clients. Working days and hours are flexible and can be discussed to suit both parties.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, professional massage treatments tailored to individual client needs
- Carry out client consultations and assess relevant health history, concerns and treatment goals
- Provide a range of massage techniques confidently and professionally
- Ideally offer specialist massage treatments such as: Deep Tissue, Sports, Pregnancy Lymphatic Drainage & Aromatherapy Massage
- Provide appropriate aftercare and wellness advice
- Build excellent relationships with clients and encourage repeat bookings
- Maintain accurate client and treatment records
- Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and professionalism
- Keep your knowledge, techniques and relevant qualifications up to date
Qualifications & Experience
- Level 3 Massage Therapy qualification or equivalent – essential
- Relevant qualifications/certificates for any specialist massage treatments offered
- Previous professional massage experience preferred
- Good knowledge of anatomy, muscles and massage techniques
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Professional, reliable and well-presented
- Able to work independently and use professional judgement
- Passionate about massage, wellness and delivering an outstanding client experience
