Location: Initially based at 6 Fairway Drive, Greenford, UB6 8PW, before relocating to our brand-new site at Unit 3, Auriol Drive, Greenford, UB6 0TP in the coming months.
Salary: £14.80 per hour (London Living Wage)

We're growing, moving into a brand-new production facility in Greenford, and we're looking for two Cleaning Operatives to join our team.
About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you'll play an important part in keeping our workplace clean, safe and running smoothly. You'll help maintain high hygiene standards across both our production and office areas, ensuring the team has a great environment to work in every day.
This isn't just a cleaning role – we're looking for people who want to be part of the wider Borough Broth team. We value everyone equally, and you'll be an important part of helping us produce exceptional food.
What You'll Be Doing
- Cleaning and maintaining production areas to the highest hygiene standards.
- Cleaning shared spaces including offices, toilets, changing rooms, kitchens and staff areas.
- Cleaning and sanitising equipment, utensils and production machinery.
- Operating industrial cleaning equipment where required.
- Disposing of waste correctly and ensuring work areas remain tidy throughout the day.
- Following all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Restocking cleaning materials and reporting when supplies need replenishing.
- Supporting production with additional cleaning tasks when required.
- Taking pride in creating a clean, safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
What You'll BringExperience & Skills
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or industrial cleaning experience (food manufacturing experience is beneficial but not essential).
- Experience using industrial cleaning equipment is advantageous.
- Good understanding of hygiene standards and safe cleaning practices.
- Able to work independently while maintaining a consistently high standard.
- Physically able to lift up to 15kg, bend, reach and remain on your feet throughout the shift.
- Comfortable working in chilled, ambient and warm environments.
