We are seeking a friendly and professional Evening Waitress to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and efficiently take their orders with attention to detail
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation standards are maintained
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and upselling menu items where appropriate
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, maintaining cleanliness in the service area
- Manage multiple tables effectively, prioritising tasks during busy periods
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and process transactions securely
- Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including table clearing and resetting
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation of service
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy evening shifts
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
- Experience in guest services, with a focus on creating positive dining experiences
- Upselling skills to enhance guest satisfaction and maximise sales potential
- Flexibility to work evenings as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Pay: From £12.21 per hour
