What you’ll be doing
As a Bank Carer, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, choice, privacy and independence. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Providing compassionate, person-centred care and support.
- Assisting residents with dressing, undressing, bathing and toileting.
- Supporting residents with mobility difficulties, incontinence and other physical needs.
- Helping residents use mobility aids and personal equipment safely.
- Encouraging and supporting mental and physical activity through conversation, companionship and meaningful interaction.
- Maintaining clean and welcoming lounges and communal areas.
- Responding to call bells and, when required, answering the door and telephone.
- Completing clear and accurate care records and case notes, including digital care planning records.
- Working positively as part of a caring and supportive team.
- Completing all required in-house training.
No previous care experience? That’s okay!
You don’t need to have worked in care before. We value the right attitude, compassion and willingness to learn. Full training and support will be provided to help you become confident in your role.
Flexible shift options
We have a range of shifts available, including:
- 7am – 7pm
- 7am – 2pm
- 2pm – 7pm
- Twilight: 2pm or 4pm – 10pm
Bank/casual work available to suit your availability.
