Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team in maintaining and repairing vehicles. The ideal candidate should have mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools. MOT tester an advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles, such as vehicle servicing, general mot repairs, cambelts/timing chains, suspension and steering work brake replacements and diagnostics.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on cars and vans
- Perform brake, steering and suspension, engine, and transmission repairs
- Inspect vehicle/diagnostics
- Test drive vehicles to assess performance after repairs
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repairs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in vehicle mechanics
Hours Monday to Friday 08.30-17.30.
Pay will start from £15 per hour and negotiable on your experience.
