Landscape Zoolutions, part of Five Sisters Zoo, is looking for a skilled and creative Landscape Garden Designer / Estimator to join our growing team.
We specialise in designing and delivering high-quality landscaping projects for both private clients and commercial environments, including themed enclosures and visitor spaces within the zoo. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to take their first steps in landscape design or for someone looking to further develop their skills. You will get the opportunity to work in a varied and rewarding role within a unique setting
Role Responsibilities:
- Create detailed garden and landscape designs, including planting plans and hard landscaping layouts.
- Meet with clients to understand their needs and translate ideas into professional designs.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to assess conditions and gather measurements.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, materials lists, and project timelines.
- Liaise with suppliers, contractors, and the landscaping team to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Contribute to zoo development projects, including animal enclosures and public spaces.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding in landscape or garden design.
- Estimating knowledge, including materials, labour, and time management.
- Strong skills in design software
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
