About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and wants to gain a recognised qualification while earning and learning on the job.
You will work alongside experienced practitioners to support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing in a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the care and supervision of children aged [e.g. 0–5 years]
- Assist with planning and delivering play-based activities in line with the EYFS
- Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
- Support children with personal care routines, including mealtimes and hygiene
- Observe children’s progress and contribute to learning records
- Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies at all times
- Work positively as part of a team and communicate with parents where appropriate
What We’re Looking For
- A genuine interest in working with young children
- Willingness to learn and complete an Early Years apprenticeship
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A caring, patient, and positive attitude
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths preferred (or willingness to work towards them)
- We will offer you a apprentice course through our approved provider Hawk Training which will ensure you have all the support required.
