Job Overview:
We are looking for a kind, compassionate, and reliable Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. You’ll play a vital role in supporting residents with dementia to live dignified, fulfilling lives. This is more than just a job — it's an opportunity to make a real difference every single day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans
- Assist with daily living activities including washing, dressing, mobility, and mealtimes
- Encourage social interaction and meaningful engagement through conversation, activities, and companionship
- Monitor residents' wellbeing and promptly report any concerns to senior staff or management
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
- Support residents with dignity, patience, and understanding
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure the highest standard of care is delivered
- Maintain accurate records and follow care home policies and procedures
