Field Install Engineer required at a growing Photocopier and Telecommunications supplier
Salary up to £35K basic with performance related bonus scheme up to 10% of salary and company vehicle
Our business, Zero Enterprises Ltd, is based in Crewe Cheshire and has been established for over 25 years. We have an enviable reputation for customer service which is our ethos. Our primary market has traditionally been the provision of photocopier, MFD, Managed Print Service solutions (MPS) and associated services to a wide range of SME clients from many different industry sectors across the UK. As well as significantly growing our customer base, we have expanded our service offerings in recent times and are now looking to extend our field service engineering capability to support the expansion in customers to which we are also supplying Telecoms, VoIP and broadband solutions.
The job role is for an experienced Install engineer to join our service team to and support a growing customer base across the UK. Installing a range of manufacturers Toshiba, Develop and Ricoh devices onto customers networks.
This role is predominately field based at customer sites but will also require some in-house work configuring hardware for installation and refurbishing kit for resale.
The business prides itself on its USP of the best customer service and in order to achieve your performance targets you will be required to meet our quality standards both in machine Installation, Service and Repair as well as customer service and relationship management.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Installation of MFD equipment at customer sites
- Prepare MFD equipment for customer installations
- Attend field calls as directed by the call control team
- Maintain, service and repair MFD equipment including performing preventative and routine maintenance on site
- Liaise regularly with technical team regarding any escalations and technical observations
- Refurbish MFD equipment for re-sale
- Make improvement recommendations for device and service optimisations.
- Training and support of end users
- Attend technical training courses as required
- Be active in the continuous improvement programme and sharing of best practice within the company network
Key skills :

Key experience
- 3+ years MFD field Installation experience
- 2+ Years MFD Field Service experience
- Trained and experienced on either Toshiba, Develop or Ricoh

Reports directly to Service Director
