Service & Breakdown Engineer – North & East London
£40,000 - £42,000 Basic | OTE £45,000 - £50,000 | Long-Term Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced and skilled Service & Breakdown Engineer to join one of our leading Social Housing Contractor clients, covering North and East London.
This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking for a long-term, stable position with a well-established and reputable company that values its workforce and offers genuine opportunities for progression and ongoing training.
The Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out servicing, fault finding and remedial repairs on gas-fired heating boilers across social housing properties.
The successful candidate will be expected to deliver work to a high standard, meeting client expectations and specifications while ensuring full compliance with current gas safety legislation.
Salary & Benefits
- £40,000 - £42,000 basic salary

Working Hours & Area
- 45 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Call-out rota: 1 in 4 weeks
- Participation in out-of-hours emergency call-out rota required
- Coverage area: North and East London, primarily within the following postcodes: E17, N16, E9, N22, E1
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience within the gas industry
- Previous proven experience working within Social Housing
- Valid ACS qualifications including CKR1 and HTR1
- Available to work Monday to Friday and participate in the call-out rota
- Clean DBS record
- Clean Full UK driving licence preferred
