Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality support to individuals in Residential Care Home ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering personalised care tailored to each individual's needs. The Care Assistant will work closely with other healthcare professionals and family members to promote independence and dignity for those in their care.

Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
- Support clients in following their individual care plans to meet their specific needs
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ quality of life
- Administer medication as directed and maintain accurate records of care provided
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
Skills
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and compassionately
- Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
- Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of clients
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support others in their daily lives
