Overview
Join our dental team as a Dental Nurse/Receptionist, where your energy and enthusiasm will help create a welcoming environment for patients and support the smooth operation of our practice. Working hours will be 8.15am-5pm Monday - Thursday. Duties
- Provide compassionate patient care, assisting dentists during procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout their visit
- Manage reception duties including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism and warmth
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection standards
- Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure timely preparation of treatment rooms and materials for procedures
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing payments, updating patient information, and managing correspondence
- Communicate clearly with patients in English, explaining treatments, post-care instructions, and answering questions effectively
Requirements
- Experience in patient care within a healthcare or dental setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with patients and team members
- Knowledge of nursing practices or relevant healthcare qualifications preferred
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, appointment scheduling, and administrative documentation
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and reliability
- A positive attitude with a genuine desire to deliver outstanding patient service
