The Role:
We are looking to expand our catering operation with the addition of a kitchen assistant. The role requires a strong team member who will contribute to the smooth running of the kitchen which in turn supports our successful restaurant and garden centre. Working in the kitchen, you will also be responsible for food preparation, working to a high standard in order to ensure we meet our responsibilities to our customers. This role is a part-time permanent position for 30 hours per week, over 4 days. Weekday and weekend work is expected.
The Candidate:
We are seeking a positive team player to fulfil an essential role in our busy kitchen. We seek to offer the highest standards of service and you will help us to do this. We will need you to work independently and without supervision and at other times provide bespoke support to the catering team as required depending on the needs of the wider restaurant. Previous experience in working with food in a commercial kitchen is preferred but not essential.
