Our kitchen is fast-paced, especially on weekends, and we are looking for a reliable Kitchen Assistant to help keep the kitchen clean, organised, and running smoothly during our busiest services.
Role Overview:
As a Weekend Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting the kitchen team by maintaining cleanliness and organisation. You will ensure dishes, equipment, and work areas are cleaned and ready during busy brunch services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans
- Keeping the kitchen and work areas clean and organised
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Emptying bins and maintaining waste and recycling areas
- Ensuring all hygiene and food safety standards are followed
- Supporting the kitchen team during busy weekend service
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable and punctual
- Good teamwork skills
- Availability to work weekends
- Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required
