Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our friendly team at Borrowdale Gates Hotel in Grange-Keswick. This role is vital in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and enjoy their dining experience, reflecting our hotel’s high standards.
Responsibilities
- Greet and serve guests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Assist with food and beverage preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all service areas.
- Support the team during busy service times to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure food safety regulations are strictly followed.
- Restock supplies and manage inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to deliver excellent guest experiences.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles.
- Knowledge of food safety standards.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Barista experience is a plus.
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts and busy periods.
