Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner Bank Staff to join our team on a flexible basis. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our nursery, providing high-quality care and education to children. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a caring and professional attitude. Duties
- Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities that support children's development and learning.
- Supervise children during play, meal times, nap times, and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Support the implementation of nursery policies and procedures in line with regulatory standards.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating environment for children’s learning and well-being.
- Support children's individual needs by providing personalised care and attention.
- Contribute to record keeping, including observations of children's progress and daily reports.
- Assist with organising nursery routines and activities as required.
Skills
- Proven experience in childcare or nursery settings, with knowledge of early childhood education principles.
- Strong management and organisational skills to support daily nursery operations.
- Leadership qualities to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience working with children across different age groups within a nursery environment.
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times.
- Valid driving licence is desirable for supporting nursery activities outside the premises. Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
