Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable AM & PM PSV Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating Passenger Service Vehicles (PSVs) during morning and afternoon shifts, ensuring timely and secure transportation of passengers. Your expertise in driving, vehicle maintenance, and excellent communication skills will contribute to delivering a smooth and positive experience for all passengers. Responsibilities
- Safely operate PSV vehicles during scheduled AM and PM shifts, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies
- Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and safety compliance
- Assist passengers with boarding, alighting, and providing information as needed to ensure a comfortable journey
- Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance needs
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and report any issues promptly
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks or report repairs required to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during operation, including the use of safety equipment and adherence to health guidelines
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with van or passenger transport vehicles
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; experience as a delivery or van driver is highly desirable
- Good communication skills in English to interact confidently with passengers and team members
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety procedures diligently
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance routines and troubleshooting techniques
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
