IPM Group is recruiting a Level 2 Spectator Safety and Level 3 Spectator Safety Supervision Instructor and Assessor to support the delivery of stewarding training, induction programmes and workplace assessments across a range of venues and client locations.
This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in the events, stewarding, crowd safety or security industry who is confident delivering training to groups, assessing learners in a live environment, and helping new and existing staff develop the knowledge, confidence and competence required to work safely and professionally at events.
The successful candidate will deliver Level 2 Spectator Safety/3 Spectator Safety Supervision training, support learners through the qualification process, carry out assessments, and deliver site-specific inductions at various locations. This may include sports stadiums, event venues, client sites and training locations.
Key responsibilities will include:
Delivering Level 2 Spectator Safety/3 Spectator Safety Supervision training to new and existing staff.
Carrying out learner assessments in line with qualification requirements.
Delivering practical and site-specific induction sessions at different venues.
Supporting learners with workbook completion, professional discussions and practical assessment evidence.
Assessing staff during live deployments where required.
Ensuring all training and assessment activity is recorded accurately.
Providing constructive feedback to learners to support development and improvement.
Maintaining high standards of professionalism, compliance and learner support.
Working closely with operational managers, venue teams and training coordinators.
Helping ensure staff are confident, competent and ready for deployment.
We are looking for someone who has:
Experience in spectator safety, stewarding, crowd management, events or security.
A good understanding of Level 2 Spectator Safety requirements.
The ability to deliver clear, engaging and practical training.
Experience assessing learners or supporting workplace assessment.
Strong communication and organisation skills.
Confidence working with groups of learners with different experience levels.
A professional and supportive approach.
Flexibility to travel to different training and venue locations.
A valid driving licence and access to transport would be desirable due to the nature of the role.
Desirable qualifications and experience:
Level 2 or Level 3 Spectator Safety qualification.
Assessor qualification, such as CAVA, A1, TAQA or equivalent.
Teaching or training qualification, such as PTLLS, AET or equivalent.
Experience delivering inductions, toolbox talks or operational briefings.
Experience working at football stadiums, sporting events, festivals or large public events.
Knowledge of crowd safety, incident reporting, access control, searching procedures, customer service and emergency response.
