WEEKEND DELIVERY DRIVER & MARKET STALL OPERATOR
The Role
We are looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our growing team at Fosse Meadows. This is a varied hands-on role combining delivery driving, market sales, customer service, and support for our food production operation.
Working one or two weekend days, you will drive our 3.5-tonne refrigerated vans to London's farmers' markets, set up and operate busy market stalls, and be a key ambassador for our award-winning free-range poultry business.
This is a varied delivery role that will suit someone looking for extra hours, you will be driving to farmers markets in London dropping markets and working/selling at busy farmers markets on one or two weekend days depending on what suits. The role requires early starts and 10-13 hour days on a Saturday or Sunday
Key Responsibilities
- Safely drive 3.5-tonne refrigerated vans into London to our farmers' markets
- Load and unload vehicles safely, ensuring products arrive in excellent condition.
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any damage, defects or maintenance requirements.
- Set up, operate and dismantle busy farmers' market stalls.
- Engage with customers, explain our products and farming ethos, and maximise sales opportunities.
- Process customer payments using card payment systems and mobile devices.
- Maintain high standards of presentation, hygiene and food safety.
- Represent the Fosse Meadows brand with professionalism, positivity and enthusiasm.

Fosse Meadows is a high-welfare poultry farm based in North Kilworth, Leicestershire. We produce award-winning free-range chickens and supply some of the UK's finest restaurants, butchers, farm shops and farmers' markets. What We're Looking For
- Clean UK Driving Licence with at least 5 years' driving experience.
- Confident driving 3.5-tonne vans, including routes into London.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable with loading, unloading and market setup.
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable with early starts and long shifts.
- Ability to use smartphones and electronic payment systems.
- Previous delivery, retail, food production or market sales experience beneficial but not essential
