THE OPPORTUNITY
Make Green Energy is expanding our residential solar and battery operation and we’re looking for confident, motivated people to join our field appointment-setting team.
This is NOT a doorstep closing role.
Your job is simple: speak with homeowners, introduce the potential benefits of solar panels and battery storage, identify genuine interest and arrange a free, no-obligation home energy assessment with one of our experienced solar consultants.
You start the conversation. Our sales team does the rest.
WHAT WE OFFER

THE BETTER YOU PERFORM, THE MORE YOU EARN
Our installation commission increases based on performance:
1–2 completed installations per month:
£200 per installation
3–4 completed installations per month:
£250 per installation
5–7 completed installations per month:
£300 per installation
8–9 completed installations per month:
£350 per installation
10+ completed installations per month:
£400 per installation
PLUS £40 for every qualified appointment that sits.
PLUS your guaranteed hourly pay.
There is no cap on what you can earn through commission.
WHAT COULD YOU EARN?
Generate 20 qualified appointments that sit and 5 customers who go on to complete an installation:
£800 appointment commission
£1,500 installation commission
That’s £2,300 in performance-related earnings, PLUS your guaranteed hourly pay.
Strong performers have the opportunity to earn significantly more.
HAVE YOU WORKED IN ANY OF THESE INDUSTRIES?

If so, your experience could transfer perfectly into solar.
Previous solar experience is an advantage, but it isn’t essential.
We’ll teach you the products and the process.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Working within allocated residential areas
- Approaching and engaging homeowners professionally
- Having short conversations about energy costs and renewable energy
- Introducing solar panels and battery storage
- Identifying homeowners with genuine interest
- Booking appointments for our solar consultants
- Accurately recording customer and appointment information
- Representing Make Green Energy professionally
- Working towards individual and team targets
You are NOT expected to design solar systems, produce quotations or close customers at the door.

Previous field sales or canvassing experience is desirable, but attitude, reliability and work ethic are just as important.
START PART-TIME – BUILD YOUR HOURS THROUGH PERFORMANCE
We understand that door-to-door canvassing is a performance-driven role.
New team members can initially work shorter field-based shifts while learning the role and developing their confidence.
Perform well and there will be opportunities for additional hours, increased earnings and progression.
BUILD YOUR OWN TEAM
We’re not just looking for canvassers.
We’re looking for our future Team Leaders and Area Managers.
Our progression route is:
Appointment Setter → Senior Canvasser → Team Leader → Area Manager
Prove yourself in the field and you could have the opportunity to recruit, train and develop a team around you.
Team Leaders can earn additional override commission from completed installations generated by their team.
This creates the opportunity for ambitious people to build a substantial income as the business and their team grows.
