We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff / Front of House team members to join our vibrant hospitality venue. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently at the bar and front of house.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with company standards, ensuring presentation and quality.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, providing correct change and receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, tables, and service stations.
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety protocols.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
Skills
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and food preparation techniques.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in serving or kitchen environments is advantageous, including culinary knowledge.
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and sales.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a hospitality setting.
