Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will specialise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of foot and lower limb conditions. A strong background in anatomy, biomechanics, dermatology and nail surgery Is desired. Greater than 1 year postgraduate experience essential.
Duties
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with foot, ankle, and lower limb issues
- Develop personalised treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs
- Perform minor surgical procedures, including nail avulsions and wound debridement
- Administer medications as prescribed within scope of practice
- Utilise medical imaging tools to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance and preventive measures
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- Registration with the HCPC
- Proven experience in patient care within a clinic environment
- Knowledge of anatomy related to the lower extremities and proficiency in medical imaging techniques
- Experience in medication administration relevant to podiatric treatments
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
- Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with healthcare teams
- Ability to adapt to various care environments
