Job Title: General Manager – Vehicle Manufacturer
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary: Up to £60,000 + bonus
Pybus Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established and innovative specialist vehicle manufacturer. Our client designs, develops, and manufactures a wide range of specialist vehicles, including wheelchair accessible vehicles, taxis, and minibuses.
In addition to vehicle manufacturing, our client provides a comprehensive range of aftersales services, including servicing, repairs, maintenance, and parts distribution across the UK.
Due to continued growth and investment, we are now seeking an General Manager to join the team and play a key role in launching and growing a new showroom operation in Coventry.
You will focus on launching and growing the new Coventry taxi showroom while also covering wider regions to demonstrate the MAXiCab, standard taxis, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5pm
Salary: Up to £60000 plus Bonus

Key Responsibilities
- Increase sales of MAXiCab, standard taxis, and WAV taxis.
- Build strong relationships with taxi drivers, operators, licensing authorities, and fleet buyers.
- Deliver vehicle demonstrations across multiple regions.
- Support the successful launch and ongoing growth of the Coventry showroom.
- Work closely with the internal sales and lead generation teams to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Attend UK trade shows, taxi industry events, licensing events, and roadshows.
A full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
Requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous sales experience within automotive, mobility, B2B, or field sales environments.
- A proven track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
