Duties:
- Conduct mechanical and bodywork repairs on assigned vehicle jobs
- Dismantle, fault-find, and perform diagnostic work to identify repair needs
- Reassemble vehicles using new parts after repairs, ensuring quality standards
- Perform thorough inspections and testing to verify repairs
- Identify faults or safety concerns and advise accordingly
- Conduct road tests to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness when required
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail throughout all tasks
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a MET Technician within a busy Bodyshop environment
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
- Multi-tasking proficiency to manage multiple jobs efficiently
- ATA accreditation is advantageous but not essential
- Own tools and a valid UK driving licence
